W październiku 2012 roku, WSPA ujawniła światu przerażające okrucieństwo z jakim spotykają
się tysiące żółwi morskich hodowanych na Żółwiej Farmie na Kajmanach.
Inspektorzy WSPA dowiedzieli się że delikatne , zagrożone wyginięciem żółwie morskie są upychane w małe zbiorniki, stłamszone i chore są łowione dla ich mięsa.
Od tego czasu, ponad 130000 ludzi z całego świata podpisało petycje WSPA wzywającą Farmę
Żółwi Morskich na Kajmanach do zaprzestania tych okrucieństw.
Dzięki presji ludzi wspierających WSPA oraz opinii publicznej, Farma zgodziła się na ”niezależną”
inspekcje. Wyniki tej inspekcji będą upublicznione z końcem miesiąca, dlatego też
wykorzystujemy tą szanse by przekazać naszą petycje szefom farmy.
Nasz przekaz jest prosty: Świat ma was na oku.

„In October 2012, WSPA exposed the horrific cruelty suffered by thousands of sea turtles being
farmed at the Cayman Turtle Farm.
WSPA investigators found gentle, endangered sea turtles being crammed into tiny tanks,
distressed and diseased and cruelly farmed for their meat.
Since then, over 130,000 people from around the globe have signed WSPA’s petition asking
the Cayman Turtle Farm to Stop Sea Turtle Farming.
Thanks to the pressure from WSPA supporters and the public, the Farm agreed to
an ‘independent’ review of its facility. The findings of this review will be published at the end
of the month, so we are seizing the chance to hand our petition in to the Farm’s bosses now.
Our message is clear: the world is watching.
